Orientation program

Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy hosted a formal orientation program for its new undergraduate and postgraduate students at the KS Hegde Auditorium in Deralakatte on 1st August 2024. The event featured Prof. (Dr) M. Shantharam Shetty, Pro-Chancellor (Hospital Management), as the Chief Guest, and Prof. (Dr) Harsha Halahali, Registrar of Nitte University, as the Guest of Honor.

The program commenced with an invocation led by Ms. Gana Pilanja, followed by a warm welcome from Prof. (Dr) Dhanesh Kumar KU, Principal of NIPT. A ceremonial lamp lighting, involving the chief guest, a parent, and a fresher, symbolized the start of the academic journey. The speakers emphasized the significance of avoiding substance abuse and encouraged students to explore the vast opportunities within the field of physiotherapy, as well as to take full advantage of the resources available on campus.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Nishitha Elsy Fernandes, Batch Coordinator, while Ms. Aishwarya Nair efficiently managed the proceedings as the master of ceremony.
